RECLAIM (Reclaiming Forgotten Cities - Turning cities from vulnerable spaces to healthy places for people) is a £1.45m UKRI (EPSRC,NERC, AHRC) funded Network+ grant. It is led by the University of Surrey’s Global Centre for Clean Air Research (GCARE) in collaboration with the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, Universities of Bath, Bangor and Warwick.

About us
RECLAIM Network Plus is a 'one-stop-shop’ for towns and cities to find the information and support you need to install green and blue infrastructure in your communities and to put you in touch with others with similar interests and experiences.
We are building a community of practice which will address knowledge gaps and implementation challenges, and will fast-track solutions that allow cities to overcome climate and societal challenges.
Members include city officials, business and industry, NGOs and academics, and come from the UK and worldwide.
Conference 2025
Our 2025 RECLAIM Network Plus Conference will take place at the University of Surrey in Guildford on Thursday 30th January .
This event offers a unique opportunity to share best practices around blue, green and grey infrastructures with city officials, business and industry professionals, NGOs, and academics who share a passion for fostering greener, more resilient, and prosperous communities.
GBI Photography Competition
The RECLAIM Network Plus recently delivered its first international photography competition to capture Green, Blue and Grey Infrastructures within urban settings.
Webinar Series
The RECLAIM Network Plus Webinar Series consists of monthly online sessions with expert guest speakers from industry and academia presenting on topics relating to green and blue infrastructure.
