Webinars will share best-practice and facilitate knowledge exchange between practitioners, researchers, policymakers, businesses, environmental groups, charities and individuals interested in implementation of green-blue-grey infrastructure for making our vulnerable living spaces more healthy, sustainable and resilient.

Thuy Nguyen
Phd Candidate, London Imperial

Unveiling Voices: An Exploration of Public Insights in Consultation and Co-Design Approach

Biography :   
Ngoc Thuy Nguyen is a PhD student at the Centre for Environmental Policy, Imperial College London. Her current research focuses on strategies to improve the current planning and management of green spaces to ensure they are inclusive and considerate of different communities’ needs. She is interested in exploring the potential of a co-design approach in designing solutions that can foster environmental, economic, and social sustainability.


McKenna Davis
Senior Fellow, Coordinator Nature-based Solutions at Ecologic Institute, Berlin, Germany

Title of the talk: “The Urban Governance Atlas: Enhancing local action on nature-based solutions” 

Biography:
McKenna
works as a Senior Fellow at Ecologic Institute in Berlin and coordinates the Institute's activities on Nature-based Solutions (NbS). Her work focuses on the science-policy-society interface, supported by transdisciplinary research on NbS policy and governance, co-creation and stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and urban transformation. She currently coordinates the Horizon Europe-funded INTERLACE project, aiming to strengthen urban ecosystem restoration in the European Union and Latin America.
