Prof Darren Woolf
Chair of UKUEQ, A partnership between CIBSE Resilient Cities Group & UK Wind Engineering Society

UK Urban Environmental Quality (UKUEQ) Partnership update

Biography :   
Prof Darren Woolf is chair of CIBSE Building Simulation Group and a visiting professor in the Building Energy Research Group at Loughborough University. He founded and is chair of UKUEQ – a collaboration between CIBSE Resilient Cities Group and UK Wind Engineering Society. A key aim of the group is to generate and promote best available technologies and design practices leading to better understanding of and designs for the urban environment in UK cities. Currently there are four publication-focused activity streams covering urban vegetation, wind, thermal comfort and air quality.


Howard Gray
Business Relationship Specialist, GreenBlue Urban

Biography:
Howard
Gray is a passionate advocate for urban green investment. He has worked in this industry for over 30 years, persuading stakeholders of the importance of parity between green, blue and grey infrastructure, and campaigning for better holistic design. Howard’s drive for the creation of healthy urban spaces in harmony with nature is impressive and leaves you wanting to get involved and change the world for the better.
