RECLAIM Network was presented at the Northern Air Quality News Conference

Our network investigator Professor Laurence Jones presented the RECLAIM Network at the northern Air Quality News conference held on 25 May 2022. Talks at the conference covered a range of topics, and themes with strong relevance to RECLAIM were the links between solving air quality issues and carbon emissions, and involving the public as part of your solutions. This conference was well attended and represented by a wide variety of academic, non-academic and governmental organisations. The programme of the event can be seen here: https://airqualitynews.com/events/event/the-2022-northern-air-quality-conference/

 What’s next?

We are working on the:

  • First ‘Secondments’ call which will offer funding to foster exchanges between cities, business and academia, with emphasis on benefitting links between different types of organisations, and early-career researchers (e.g. PhDs, PDRAs, new academics). The call is expected to be released sometime in June 2022.

  • We are also working on planning for upcoming workshops, horizon scanning studies, and the first call for feasibility studies and data collection on knowledge gaps.

Many thanks for your time to read the above updates!

Kind regards,

Prashant, Laurence and the RECLAIM Network Team
