“Aquatic Benefits & Beyond : how urban tree planting enhances ecosystem services”
Biography :
Dr Michael Hutchins is a water quality modeller based at UKCEH in Wallingford. He is interested in the multiple-benefits nature-based solutions provide in the urban environment, participating in (REGREEN) and leading (DeSCIPHER) international research projects. His own contributions have focused on identifying the levels of aquatic benefits that can be achieved from NBS. He has then gone on to incorporate this evidence in model applications which can support assessment of policy-relevant scenarios.

Biography:
Dr Janice Scheffler is a meteorologist and atmospheric modeller who has been looking at the human influence on the atmosphere. First by looking at the chemistry and dynamics higher up in the atmosphere. And now by looking at the quality of the air we breathe.
