The Urban Greening ‘How To’ Toolkit was originally developed by the RECLAIM Network Plus to support local authorities and practitioners in the United Kingdom. Building on this foundation, we have co‑created three new international toolkits for Ethiopia, Malawi and Nepal.

For each country, we worked closely with local partners to identify three high‑priority themes for their urban environments and then tailored the toolkit content to those priorities. While many additional topics are relevant to planning urban green–blue infrastructure, each toolkit focuses on the three most important themes agreed with in‑country collaborators, providing practical, evidence‑based guidance for local governments and urban planners.
