How to Engage Communities on the Infrastructure of the Future
On 26 June 2025, ECF hosted a dynamic half-day workshop focused on a critical — yet often overlooked — aspect of Green-Blue-Grey Infrastructure (GBGI): community engagement.
Too often, local voices are left out of conversations that directly affect their neighbourhoods. This workshop aimed to change that by spotlighting the vital role communities play in the success of GBGI projects. Attendees explored strategies for meaningful engagement and shared practical insights on how to ensure local residents and stakeholders are not just consulted, but empowered.
